Hygge (pronounced hue-gah) is a Danish word that is a feeling or mood that comes taking genuine pleasure in making ordinary, every day moments more meaningful, beautiful or special. Whether it’s making coffee a verb by creating a ritual of making it then lingering over a cup to a cosy evening in with friends to the simple act of lighting a candle with every meal. Hygge is being aware of a good moment whether it’s simple or special and this artwork was inspired by it.
My artwork is made by using traditional collage art technique with various vintage images from magazines and books that I collect from all over the world. I am extremely passionate about all the things vintage and love recycling old images into new unique modern artworks, which are also timeless.

Avoid south facing light and use ultraviolet (UV) filtering glass for framing. Try not to hang prints directly against the interior of the outside wall of a building: the comparatively low temperature can cause condensation and mould growth inside a frame. Conversely, a radiator or spotlight dries the air out, and concentrates dirt by convection currents.
When handling works of art, you should touch the paper as little as possible and keep your fingers away from the image.
I do offer my artworks for wholesale so please contact me for further details.
I do not at the moment offer framed prints, but if you are looking for beautiful and affordable frames please check Etsy. There is a lot of wonderful sellers who make lovely frames. You can contact me for more info.
If you want different sizes prints please contact me and I will see what I can do. Thanks
